How it works...

Instead of doing backups to a tape drive or other media your data is backed up securely online. Our backup software firstly encrypts your data for security, then compresses it and only then sends the encrypted and compressed files over the internet to our online backup servers housed safely off-site in two separater data centres. Depending on the package chosen, the backups are usually configured to run at night so that there is no slow down to your network, however backups can also be run as often as every half an hour.

 

The process is as easy as A-B-C......

A. Install...

Our Online Software is installed on your business server, the installation only takes a few minutes.

B. Setup...

Our software is setup to select the agreed files to be backed up online. This is simply the collection of files selected by you to be backed up. The software is configured to automatically include any new files saved to the directories that are part of the backup set.  All required data is copied to an external harddrive that is transported to Digiweb data centre. The data is then uploaded to that data centre and set to duplicate to Webserve data centre for full redundancy. Once this is complete KeepITsafe Online Software is configured to automatically upload incremental changes to the data centre as often as required, depending on the package chosen by you.

C. Schedule...

The backup software is configured to run based on the package chosen, e.g every night at 2am, every half hour, etc

D. Peace of mind...

At the pre-scheduled time, our backup software will compress and encrypt any incremental changes to your data set and transmit it securely to the data centres. This service runs automatically and works seamlessly in the background, giving you complete "peace of mind" in relation to your data storage.

Restore...

When the time comes to restore a single file, simply open the backup software, select the files or folders you wish to restore, then click restore. This is all done through a web interface that can be accessed 24/7.

In the event of a disaster Arion Online Backup will guarantee to have the data on-site within 24 hours. You will need your encryption key and password so it is essential that this information is kept safe and secure.

Status...

An email will be sent to you every morning with the status of the backups. You are also free to check this at anytime through the web interface
